What if you had the ability to immediately identify key indicators to push the therapies you knew would be beneficial? Or you would start a conversation with your client about lifestyle challenges (stress levels, the source of those stress levels) plus provide the exact protocols from the scan to do so?
HeartQuest offers the combination of HRV and physiology scanning, not just as a baseline, but as a system to measure if the patient is at risk, identify the direction of therapies, and finally, to access therapies after a 5 minute scan….
- A scan that collects and analyzes HRV data and physiological measurements.
- Heart Rate Variability (HRV) uses ECG wrist leads to capture 300 heartbeats to assess the viability of the beat-to-beat change of the heart. The scan is non-invasive and takes only 5 minutes.
- HeartQuest measures more than 21 points of physiology in an easy-to-read, colorful, visual format.
- The left HeartQuest scan shows high HRV, as indicated by a rhythmogram (see Variation: Combs and Troughs). The one on the right shows low heart rate variability, as shown by the flat line nature of the rhythmogram. The summary displays below show the status of the five major health indices.
Therapists love the versatility of HeartQuest. They benefit from:
- Determining the client’s starting points during the first visit, before therapy begins.
- Visually show clients how stress, known as a silent killer, affects their bodies.
- Show exactly how a particular therapy has changed the physiology of the body.
- Prove to clients that therapy works, even if they can’t yet see the shift toward feeling good.
- Compare scans over time to see where additional support is needed, or where too much stress is being placed on the body, and adjust therapy accordingly.
- Help less motivated patients continue therapy by showing them the positive effects of therapy.
- Support committed clients by showing them the positive effects of therapy and any life changes they are going through.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON THE MEANING OF HRV
Information – Advanced Research in HRV
Recent science has shown that HRV is the single biomarker that determines health, longevity, fitness, emotional balance and productivity. Yes, blood pressure, BMI, heart rate, cholesterol are important, but the relaxed state between heartbeats known as heart rate variability is more important. HRV is the extent to which the heart speeds up or slows down. The greater the variability, the healthier you are. The changing intervals between two heartbeats give an accurate picture of the body’s ability to recover from stress and strain. It shows the importance of lifestyle and emotions to our overall health. As we get older, HRV naturally reduces and it worsens with poor health and long-term stress. Low-level HRV indicates that your patients are at risk of serious disease or aging prematurely. We now know that HRV levels can predict future disease as well as the likelihood of a sudden cardiac event.
Advances in our understanding of HRV and chronic disease may provide valuable new methods for preventing and treating serious, long-term illness. Maintaining high levels of HRV promotes better health and performance and includes improved brain functions such as concentration, focus, memory, response flexibility, intuitive insight, judgment, and decision making. It is also an important tool to measure anti-aging therapies as well as energy levels in athletes.
The negative risk of low or reduced HRV includes the risk of a cardiac event, stroke, psycho-emotional stress, toxic body exposures, electromagnetic radiation, infections, premature aging, and more.
What HeartQuest offers is not only the benefits of easy-to-read HRV, but also the ability to display over 21 physiological parameters. No other HRV system can measure these parameters while providing “easy to read” colorful icons that give a clear understanding of a patient’s health status. From session to session, HeartQuest can monitor subtle changes in parasympathetic and sympathetic activity in addition to mapped improvements in your therapies. No other system can show blocked regulation, which is a key indicator for identifying the source of the health challenge.
